Recently Purite Ireland sent me a selection of their natural and handmade products for the kids and I to try out. I’d never heard them previously but after a bit of research, I fell in love with their business idea and soaps, man their soaps look like they belong in a bakery. All of the products over at Purite Ireland contain natural substances derived from plants (more…)
The clocks go back an hour every single year and I say to myself that I will prepare the kids but I always forget or put it on the long finger. The following morning when one or two or three of them wake up at silly o clock I instantly regret it. So this year I’ve teamed up with Niamh O’Reilly, Ireland’s Supernanny or the baby whisperer as I like to call her to share her advice on how to beat next week’s clock change especially now that our wobbler wakes up at six bells most mornings. Up sharing his experience of his wife’s water birth is dad blogger, Luke Belsey. He recently started blogging to share his new adventures as a father. He’ll openly admit he lived a party lifestyle until baby Huxley came along and needless to say, things have calmed down A LOT – Although he occasionally suffers FOMO. His blog acts partly as a diary but also shows the humorous side of dealing with a first-time child. (more…)
Today we headed off on another Adventure of Eire and took to Co. Meath to have a whirl around Kennedys Pumpkin Patch. I was flying solo with all four as Daddy had to work and in a panic, I rang nana to take the wobbler. In my defence, she has the snots and is feeling a bit under the weather so it was probably best anyway. I felt awful leaving her but I made it up to her when we got home with some quality one on one time. (more…)
Oh man, can you believe it? Kenzie is already three months old. Like seriously, I know I’ve said it before but time really does fly. It feels like we only brought her home. The whole three under three thing is still pretty chaotic, some days are good days and some days are still sitting in your pj’s eating custard creams (more…)
Now that spooky season is upon us I have teamed up with one of my favourite online Irish stores Baby Dapper to giveaway three alternative onesies perfect for little people this Halloween. I’m a huge fan of their baby apparel and we still have all of Frankie’s alternative baby wear onesies, the quality of the fabric is next to none, and to this day there is not a stitch out of place. In fact, I’ve packed a couple of them away in his baby box as I couldn’t bring myself to giving them away. (more…)
Tonight one of my readers, Kate Boles, shares her birth story ‘A Rollercoaster of Emotions’, and as the title says it’s an emotional one with a very important message and something I believe that is not talked about enough. Since sending in her story I’ve chatted with Kate, she’s ten months postpartum and her surgery was a huge success, she’s finally beginning to feel herself again. (more…)
