A question asked quite regularly.
Blogging is my hobby, as is reading to another. I don’t drink so there’s no chilling out with a glass of wine in the evening. I hate the cinema, I get restless legs
because I’ve been pregnant the past three years. I can’t knit. And there’s only so much Netflix one can watch. When I take out my laptop put my feet up and write it helps me unwind. It’s what I enjoy doing. I love writing, it’s my passion. (more…)
As part of the Netflix #streamteam I receive a monthly newsletter with all the latest Netflix news, releases and sometimes little tasks. This month Netflix have asked bloggers to let our kids over take our blog and form a #lilstreamteam allowing them to share what they love about Netflix and their mums. So here she is my little stream teamer sharing all her favourites things about Netflix and me!
I do love a good book. I also like books about parenting, you know the honest tales and fails. I like the fails more, they make me feel normal. These books are sure to give you a good auld belly laugh. However none of these books are for the faint hearted or book club I could imagine. These books are for adults eyes and ears ONLY!
Baby led weaning means letting your child feed themselves from the start of weaning. You serve your baby finger length foods and let them gum, suck, nibble and chew. Last month a researcher, Sharon, from RTE came across my blog an emailed us to see we were interested in recording a piece on RTEjr’s Kidspeak. Kidspeak is a series of 30-60 second standalone films that are broadcast daily between shows within the TRTE and RTEjr schedules. They run all year round and present short ‘snapshots’ of young people engaged in a variety of activities. (more…)
Have you picked up your free Eumom gift bag? It is available to all pregnant women in Ireland to celebrate pregnancy. I got a form in my first booking pregnancy pack in the Coombe earlier this year and this afternoon I picked up my free bag in my local SuperValu store. The free Eumom gift bag is filled with a mixture of samples, full-size products, vouchers and informative leaflets. Bags do vary from store to store but I’m pretty happy with everything I got in mine and after all it was all free, who doesn’t like a good freebie!
