For one week only, Durrow, a little village in Laois transforms its town for the Durrow Scarecrow Festival. They had Peppa Pig, Beyoncé, Fidget Spinners, Minions and Harry Potter just to name a few. I’m not going to lie, I was dreading the summer. The thoughts of having to entertain a one, two, three and seven-year-old for two whole months gave me the sweats. In preparation, I put away a few pennies and organised a few things through my blog but there was still a million days left to entertain them. (more…)
A couple of months back we were amongst the first to experience the new Eco Explorers Sustainability Trail in Dublin Zoo. The Sustainability Trail has little stations around the Zoo, teaching young and old about the importance of living sustainably while the SSE Airtricity Eco Explorers interactive app makes it a little more fun and can be used on any tablet or smartphone.
We received a finger licking food box of Organix Apple Rice Cakes, Tomato Slices, Sweetcorn Rings and Carrot Sticks for ‘Kenzie to try out’ last month and unknownst to Organix, these particular treats are cupboard staples in our house, she LOVES them. (more…)
