It was my third year to attend the Pregnancy and Baby Fair in the RDS this weekend, and as ever I didn’t leave empty handed. There was quite a large amount of small Irish businesses this year which is always nice to see and support.  Here’s my mini haul and some of what was on offer.

We have lots of love for Heavenly Tasty Organics mango flavoured squishies, including myself. They were on special so I picked up 3 boxes, and some crispy veggie waffles too for the littlier ones. They had some of their new mini Italian bread sticks on sale that only launched in Tesco’s today and the little babog is loving them. Handy little snacks for the baby bag and I will definitely repurchase them again and again.

Kadie is always been mistaken for a boy ’cause of my gender neutral ways so I picked up a little bow for her wisps from Pretty Baby Hair Accessories. This little clip is tinchy, like your big nail tiny and it stays in her baldy head no bother. They had a special offer of 10% off their website with code ‘wonderfultaste’ if any one would like to use it.

I’m a bandana bib addict if you didn’t know already. We’ve almost a hundred different mostly irish bandana bibs. I’m a sucker for a cute design. I popped by Rain + Conker (formally known as Kosy Baby) and got eight new bibs for the babogs. I love their designs, they don’t curl, stain and wash really well. They have a discount code for first time orders with code ‘welcome10‘ to get 10% off on their website.

I’ve reviewed Pip & Pear in the past, and love their chilled baby food thats now stocked in Aldi stores. They have nine different flavours with textures for traditional weaning from stage one to stage three. I was chatting to Irene the founder and she told me she’ll be launching a wholefoods stage four range which I’m delighted to hear about as we baby led wean and don’t puree any of our foods here. I’m getting lazier the more kids I have, god help the newbie. Anyways I’m a huge fan of their Banana Blue (and spiced apple) so I picked up a couple of pots to share over pancakes. It’s yum!

We’ve finally added Kadie onto the car with some My Family Stickers from Giddy Studio’s. I’m still pregnant so there was no point in changing my sticker. I’m a huge fan of Giddy Studio’s and have been numerous times with the kids. It’s a pottery painting studio situated in the car park of Dundrum Town Centre.

They’ll actually be holding a baby and toddler week from 18th of April to Sunday 24th with a host of expert talks including Siobhan from Mummy Cooks, Niamh O Reilly from The Nursery and Miriam from Superhands Baby Sign Language. I’ve been twice before when Frankie was a little dot, well worth a visit if your local.

Launching at the fair was a new innovative product called Pram Pegs from Accessories 4 Babies. These multifunctional colourful pegs safely secure a swaddle blanket to the hood of the pram and help protect your baby from weather elements like wind and sun. Eimear, the lady behind the clever little invention gave me some to try out with the babogs and I’m giving some away on the blog HERE.

By now the boy decided he wanted out of the buggy, and being twenty something weeks (honestly I’ve lost count) pregnant I wasn’t in the humour or chasing him around the venue so we headed off home. I missed, another Irish company that deals in bandana bibs and I wanted to check out there new sleeping bags with detachable sleeves too.

Another stand I’m gutted I missed was, as a cloth nappy enthusiast I was looking forward to picking up some new reusable nappies and wipes as I want to explore different brands that I have never used before. So that was a huge bummer but I’m sure I’ll catch them at another fair soon.

There was some great offers to be had, I’m delighted with my few bits. Did you head to the fair? Did you pick up anything nice?
