As Lottie Dolls brand ambassadors my daughter receives exclusive samples of forthcoming Lottie dolls to review regularly. It’s no secret that we are huge fan, we had loads of Lottie Dolls before this opportunity to work with them. Here are some of the reasons why we LOVE her and support her every move…
- She is age appropriate, she doesn’t wear make-up, high heels or jewellery.
- Lottie is ethnically diverse, she comes in a range of hair, skin and eye colours.
- Her hair is made from premium quality Saran and her clothing is composed of tactile fabric.
- Lottie was developed alongside academics in the areas of child psychology and nutrition.
- She can stand on her own two feet at 18 cms (7.5 inches) tall and her knees bend.
- Lottie is childlike, she is based on the realistic proportions of a 9-year-old girl.
- Lottie aims to encourage children to embrace individuality.
- Arklu the business who created Lottie is Irish, they are based in Co.Donegal.
- Lottie believes in gender equality, positive body images and highlighting the impact of bullying.

[…] finally, my favourite, Lottie’s. I’m a Lottie brand ambassador (see why here) and of course, she will be making an appearance under our tree again this year. We have almost […]
She’s a pretty cool chick.
These do look great, I was never interested in Barbie etc as a kid and now expecting a daughter, I don’t want her toy role model to be horrific misrepresentations of the female form. Well done Lottie dolls!xx
Lottie looks fabulous! I would love this for my little girl xx
So much better than those awful Bratz dolls!
You have a good collection there. I still have mine in the press from the blog awards. Haven’t tried it out yet.
Ooh glad you have shared this! A Lottie doll is on my daughters birthday wish list and it is a definite consideration. I think they look fantastic! 🙂
I am still a Barbie lover I’m afraid. Although she does look pretty cool.
I really like these dolls, despite her “issues” I’ve never had a problem with dolls like Barbie, but I think what I like the best about this is that she doesn’t have one set ethnicity. H x
This looks like a great option. I do still like barbie dolls though 😉
Such cute dolls! I love how they all come in such unique styles
These look so good, no body shaming issues. I always feel like I was so body aware because of things like this x
We finally have a stockist in Wexford yay! I picked up one for Lillibug but I’ve kept it aside for the moment until she clears out some of her older toys or ones she has outgrown 🙂
