This morning we had fifteen days of midterm to fill and with all three babogs screaming with energy at 10am this morning we loaded them into the car and continued our Adventures of Eire and headed off to Glendalough. It’s been many years since my last visit, so if I’m honest I had no idea what to expect or if the kids would even enjoy it.
Anyways they had a ball. They’re all in bed the past half hour and it’s just gone 8pm. Parenting win if you ask me. It’s an adventure for little people, they both spent the day wandering and exploring, taking it all in. Also you can’t review Glendalough in my opinion, these pictures speak a thousand words. No filters. No editing. Just the beauty of Ireland in all it’s glory.
If you do anything this spring/summer go to Glendalough. Pick a good day, load the picnic basket, bring a ball, treats and possible the dog if your car is big enough.
I promise you, you won’t regret it!
We were there last weekend, big Glendalough fans, and every single time it takes my breath away. The kids just love wondering around too and all the climbing opportunities. Lovely photos.
It really is a wondrous place. And thank you I’m still amazed at how well they turned out.
I can’t to start bringing BattleKid home to discover Ireland. There’s so many places we’ll see for the first time together as a family and Glendalough is most definitely on our to-do list!
Wow, stunning!
Wow what a stunning place!!! The photos are gorgeous and they really don’t need editing! Beautiful, glad you had a great day x
I love Glendalough, I could go there all the time! We were there a couple of months ago last and it was freezing but, even then, the kids loved it. And the hotel has nice hot soup 🙂
Oh I’ll have to try out the soup next time!
Such a gorgeous place – just wow. I love the photos and agree with Alice, no editing required! H x
Beautiful! I’ve only been to Ireland once but I loved the scenery and it would be great to back and explore some more.
Gorgeous photos! We’re off to Ireland for a wedding in a few months and I’m so excited.
Oh jemma have a ball!

Wow how gorgeous! It reminds me of the Lake District a bit! you’ve taken some beautiful photos x
It looks absolutely stunning. I have never been to Ireland, it’s on my list of places to visit.
Oh and make Glendalough top of it. You will love it!
It’s been soo long ago that I too visited this place. It was recommended to me by my driving instructor at the time and didn’t disappoint. You are right that the photos say it all.
