I came across the BabyDam Bath Barrier in my newsfeeds over the weekend and fell in love with it’s innovative design. Suitable from newborn to toddler age, it turns your family bath into a bath perfectly sized bath for your baby, helping you save energy, use less water and heat less water as you only need to fill the section of the bath required.
I think it’s absolutely genius and only wish I had of heard about it sooner. The BabyDam Bath Barrier costs €35 and is available to purchase HERE!
Due to the high volume of interest since my recent Facebook post, Tony Kealys have kindly offered a BabyDam Bath Barrier to GIVEAWAY to one My Little Babog reader! (more…)
Anybody who knows me personally would know I’m a hoarder, I cannot throw anything out. Last year I started collecting old and broken crayons with the hope of doing something fun with them and today we did. Kayla and I spent the afternoon upcycling our crayons. This project is the perfect rainy day activity and it kept her entertained. These upcycled crayons would make the cutest homemade gift too.
You will need:
Baking tin or silicon moulds in shape of your choice
How to make you own up cycled rainbow crayons:
1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees
2. Peel and break the crayons to fit your moulds
3. Fill your silicon moulds
4. Pop into the oven until all wax has melted (approx. 10-15 minutes)
5. Allow your melted wax to set before removing
6. Leave your smallies to create, draw and explore with their new rainbow crayons.
Less than one hundred years ago women weren’t allowed vote until our ancestors fought and changed that for us. We now have that power to replicate that historic period in Irish history.
The marriage equality referendum is solely focused on the issue of marriage equality and will NOT directly impact on parenting rights or responsibilities of any child. It gives us all an opportunity to tell our kids that they are valued, and that treating them differently because of their sexuality is completely and utterly unacceptable.
I am voting YES to equality for my children.
I am voting YES because my children and everyone in Ireland should have the right to marry their partner whether they’re straight or gay.
I could be a parent to a LGBT child in the future and I want them to have the same rights as everyone else. I will be voting to change the law for the next generation of children with a YES on May 22nd.
