Birthing Ball

I had awful back pain during my pregnancy on Frankie so my midwife recommended a birthing ball and demonstrated the movements I should be practising such as pelvic rocking and doing hip circles in the shape of the number eight to relieve pain and discomfort, and to help baby move down. It definitely helped me so I would recommend a birthing ball especially even just for labour. Although I must warn you any small kids will fight over the ball. (more…)
