I’m sure you’re all aware by now that our family unit is on our own little eco journey. To date we use cloth nappies, we compost, we use reusable water bottles, buy second-hand toys and clothes and recycle them too. I avoid chemicals where possible and I’m currently teaching my kids about saving energy and water. (more…)
We received a finger licking food box of Organix Apple Rice Cakes, Tomato Slices, Sweetcorn Rings and Carrot Sticks for ‘Kenzie to try out’ last month and unknownst to Organix, these particular treats are cupboard staples in our house, she LOVES them. (more…)
I’m not even joking with you when I say I started writing this post back in March. I use to love writing these posts and recording our family updates and being honest I don’t even know why I stopped. Time maybe, it’s has been really hectic – when is it not? Kenzie’s on her feet RUNNING around, mumbling words. She started just before she turned 11 months and there was no stopping her no matter how much I tried. (more…)

The castle has since been restored and is open to daily guided tours but today we popped along after recommendations from parents in my Adventures of Eire group. It’s playground, panoramic views and gardens are said to be one of the best in Ireland… (more…)

I kid you not.
Irish online company The Baby Box are celebrating the launch of its new Spring / Summer range of baby boxes and gifts and a huge milestone of vaccinating 10,000 children in the developing world in partnership with UNICEF. For every box sold, 10 children have been vaccinated from measles, polio and tetanus. I’ve witnessed with my own two children how potentially fatal measles can be when both my girls contracted the disease last year so I cannot stress how important these vaccinations are. (more…)
