For one week only, Durrow, a little village in Laois transforms its town for the Durrow Scarecrow Festival. They had Peppa Pig, Beyoncé, Fidget Spinners, Minions and Harry Potter just to name a few. We’ve soldiered through many a sickness in this house. We’ve had everything from measles to hand, foot, and mouth. I always saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
Then Saturday happened.
I will never forget Saturday for as long as I live. (more…)
I’m not going to lie, I was dreading the summer. The thoughts of having to entertain a one, two, three and seven-year-old for two whole months gave me the sweats. If you’re heading this year here are some of my Tayto Park tips to help you make your day as deadly as ours. (more…)
Yesterday we had a wonderful day in Tayto Park, kids in their element as per usual, running wild and free. Me on the other hand, I was exposed to a vile human being and was told to ‘have some more respect for yourself’ as I fed my one-year-old. (more…)
