Irish online company The Baby Box are celebrating the launch of its new Spring / Summer range of baby boxes and gifts and a huge milestone of vaccinating 10,000 children in the developing world in partnership with UNICEF. For every box sold, 10 children have been vaccinated from measles, polio and tetanus. I’ve witnessed with my own two children how potentially fatal measles can be when both my girls contracted the disease last year so I cannot stress how important these vaccinations are.  (more…)

Admitting Defeat | A Marks and Spencer Collaboration

I know I’ve been lacking over here on the blog the past couple of months. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes. From chicken pox, viral bugs, starting preschool, stressing over finances to teething. Last week I teamed up with Marks and Spencer again, I know lucky me. Last month we received a box of giant cardboard Lego blocks-brick type things for the construction mad seven-year-old. The spoiler – SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM and so does the three-year-old! My eldest loves Lego, in fact, she loves construction, crafting and that involves being creative. She has a fabulous imagination. She has boxes of Lego, four large ones to be exact. Yah! I’m so excited to have the birth story series back up and running. Things got a little hectic the past few months and I just had to put it on hold.
