Take a Bow Netflix, Beat Bugs Rocks

beat bugs netflix streamteam

I don’t know if you know already but I’m a member of the Irish Netflix stream team and if I’m completely honest, I suck at it. We watch Netflix daily alright but I’m not great at sharing ‘what we are watching’ purely because I personally don’t like reading that kind of blog post. (more…)

My Emergency C-section by Linda Cunningham

emergency c-section birth story

This week one of my readers shares her emergency c-section birth story, and I have to admit my heart was in my mouth when I first read it a couple of months back, it’s very intense. Thankfully both mum and baby are both thriving now. Linda wanted to share her story because she was unaware there could be complications due to the anaesthetic following an emergency c-section and doesn’t want others to feel lost and helpless like she once did.  (more…)

Win a Family Pass to Dublin Zoo

dublin zoo

A few weeks back we got an exclusive tour with the zoo keepers at Dublin Zoo to see the brand new orangutan forest habitat. Orangutans Sibu, Leonie, Riona and Majurs brand new forest home is inspired by the Orangutans natural environment in the tropical rainforests of Borneo. Breast in a Bottle | Chicco NaturalFeeling Review

Today marks a huge milestone, I have exclusively breastfed for the first time for six weeks and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. It’s been a rollercoaster the past few weeks. I’ve endured cracked nipples, a milk bleb, pressure from family to give her formula when I struggled in the early days and an unbelievable oversupply. But I overcame it all and we are both thriving. It’s been an amazing journey so far. (more…)

Kia Ora Mini Farm Wexford

kia ora mini farm review wexford

Summer is coming to an end and with one weekend left, I had to whizz up a quick review on the Kia Ora Mini Farm located on the outskirts of Courtown, Wexford. With a host of attractions, the two kids legged it once inside. I couldn’t tell you the number of trucks, tractors, go karts and trikes sitting around the grounds of the mini farm. We couldn’t get the boy off them. He hopped from one to another the whole day. (more…)

Childs Farm Review | Organic Toiletries for Newborns, Babies & Children

childs farm toiletries for child baby and newborn

During my first borns early years, I spent my days in the Medical Tower of Our Lady’s Hospital visiting Dermatologist after Dermatologist. Kayla had awful eczema. It started on her chin, little spots that I dismissed as a heat rash but within a few days, it spread across her cheeks, down her back, it was on both elbows and the backs of her knees. She was covered in it, it was itchy, inflamed and sometimes it weeped. (more…)

One Month

Everyone keeps asking how we are getting on. Well, it’s mayhem, it’s madness, it’s absolute chaos. Nothing can prepare you for two under one, or three under three. Somedays I look down and say to myself who owns all these kids. There’s so many of them. There are too many names remember. I call Kadie Kenzie and Kenzie Kadie. I even opened the door one evening and called Frankie’s name really loudly. He was in bed and I woke him with my roars. I was looking for the dog. (more…)
