Last month we received a box of giant cardboard Lego blocks-brick type things for the construction mad seven-year-old. The spoiler – SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM and so does the three-year-old! My eldest loves Lego, in fact, she loves construction, crafting and that involves being creative. She has a fabulous imagination. She has boxes of Lego, four large ones to be exact. So these giant cardboard Lego blocks from Play Edo were always going to go down well. (more…)
I’ve been a huge fan of Marks and Spencer, most recently when they saved the day – or should I say customer service did. Last Halloween the Big Kid decided a few days before Halloween she wanted to dress up as a Lottie Doll. I spent a whole day online searching frantically for bright yellow wellies and stripy blue and white leggings. (more…)
Last month whilst having a nosey around Living Social I found a family ticket to Red Mountain Open Farm in Meath for €12, a bargain if you ask me. So this afternoon we took to the road again all babogs on board plus one of Kayla’s BFF’s to Red Mountain Open Farm to finish off the bank holiday in style. (more…)
Last weekend we were invited to Dublin Zoo to celebrate the announcement of SSE Airtricity as the official Sustainability Partner to Dublin Zoo. We were amongst the first to experience the new Eco Explorers Sustainability Trail and SSE Airtricity’s Eco Explorers interactive app. After an educational breakfast, some face painting, games and chats in Haughton House, we were on our way through Dublin Zoo to experience the sustainability trail ourselves.
A couple of months back I received an Omani Tronkon, a portable and rechargeable electric breast pump for review. It’s a petite hand help breast pump with two modes and six suction levels. The strength of the suction is within a safe and scientific pressure range. There’s no cables or tubes and it comes with a built-in rechargeable battery so you can move about and you’re not tied to one position whilst pumping, handy if you’re busy mum looking after a creche of smallies or indeed a mum who has to pump in work. I’m sure you are all aware by now that we are huge fans of Organix Goodies kid snacks. For me, it’s rare that you find a healthy convenience treat aimed at kids, toddlers and babies that they will actually eat and enjoy. We’ve been using the ‘no junk promise’ range over three years now and I’ve teamed up with them today to share our thoughts and experiences with some of their products. (more…)
Do you have a little worrier? Well I know I do. Hense why we have a Worry Plaque from The Irish Fairy Door Company. Santa brought her a worry plaque for Christmas in hope it would help take those niggling little worries away… (more…)
A couple of months back Louise, a reader of blog and owner of LC Photography got in touch to see if I was interested in getting some photos of Kenzie as she is trying to build her current photography portfolio. It so happened Joe and I had been in talks about getting some done as we’ve some of the Toddler and the Wobbler (the poor Big Kid has none!). So I was only delighted. Louise is currently following her dreams in her first year of college whilst juggling home life, two kids and full-time photography course. (more…)
