A couple of months back Louise, a reader of blog and owner of LC Photography got in touch to see if I was interested in getting some photos of Kenzie as she is trying to build her current photography portfolio. It so happened Joe and I had been in talks about getting some done as we’ve some of the Toddler and the Wobbler (the poor Big Kid has none!). So I was only delighted. Louise is currently following her dreams in her first year of college whilst juggling home life, two kids and full-time photography course. (more…)

As requested I’ve put together a post on our favourite healthy living challenge recipes. A couple of weeks back we got picked along with 4 other families to do the #lidlhealthhacks Healthy Living Challenge with Lidl and HerFamily.ie. The challenge itself lasts five weeks and each week we are given one food and activity challenges to help us change our bad habits, get fit and overall become healthier. We also receive €200 in Lidl shopping vouchers each week and at the end of the five weeks, one family will even win a holiday.
I’ve two babogs napping, one in school and another mesmerised with PJ Masks. I found it on our Virgin On Demand this morning, we are on episode #4 and I have no plans to turn it off for the next hour, the peace of a Tuesday morning is bliss. I also have a latte by my side, sound posh don’t I? Santa brought me a Nespresso. It fills me with joy. The sound of the coffee ejecting into my glass and the aroma drowns out the noise that is this house. It is heaven. (more…)
I am that girl who didn’t breastfeed because she didn’t want ‘scabby nipples’.

I haven’t shared any brelfies, or any breastfeeding photo’s online before, it’s not really my thing but my gawd these are just simply amazing. I’ve seen so many people asking again and again how to do it so I had to whizz up a quick post and share with you how to do it yourself, it’s so simple and the results are just beautiful. I just love how these edits highlight the love and beauty of mother and baby in such an artistic way. I’m going to frame mine. (more…)
If you haven’t figured it out already Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I just love watching their little faces on Christmas morning. This Christmas will be even better now that the Toddler gets’s it and the Wobbler is old enough to rip open hers, it’s all very exciting. Here’s my Christmas guide 2016, gifts for big kids, both girls and boys, and some of what will be found under our tree this year. (more…)
Just like last year, my gift guides have some practicality to them. Newbies and young babies don’t actually play with toys so there is no point spending hundreds on toys for ‘ah they’ll grow into them’ because really they don’t, by the time they ‘grow’ into them a birthday has passed or a Christening and the junk piles up. Here’s a list of gifts for a baby up to about 12 months. I have received some of the products featured for review but I have purchased everything in the main gift thread for the new babog or prior to receiving a review copy. (more…)
