I do love a good book. I also like books about parenting, you know the honest tales and fails. I like the fails more, they make me feel normal. These books are sure to give you a good auld belly laugh. However none of these books are for the faint hearted or book club I could imagine. These books are for adults eyes and ears ONLY!
Baby led weaning means letting your child feed themselves from the start of weaning. You serve your baby finger length foods and let them gum, suck, nibble and chew. With baby led weaning there is no puree, spoon-feeding or weekly batch cooking with ice cube trays. Basically baby eats what you eat. (more…)

Since becoming a first-time mum almost six years ago I have learned so much about myself, my children and parenting in general. My first-born was almost a science experiment; everything was trial and error. Visitors were sanitized, daddy was sanitized, everything was sanitized while baby number two was practically feeding himself on day two. Here I have compiled a list of things that don’t tend to happen a second and third time round you bring your precious newborn home – the truth about your third.

Kadie will be moving into Kayla’s room soon, and she is dying to share her room. She has all these wild idea’s floating about her little head. Unicorns, bunk beds, she even wants her own little library. Normally when she gets her hands on my phone she gets lost in YouTube tutorials or minecraft but lately she’s been creeping on Pinterest.
