On Saturday Kayla, Kenzie and I snook out for a couple of hours to go strawberry picking in Lamberts Fruit Farm just up in the Dublin mountains close to the DSPCA. I’ve always wanted to go strawberry picking or fruit picking in general but never knew such places existed in Dublin never mind Ireland until a friend told us about it whilst robbing snuggles from little K.
Last weekend Airfield Estate in Dundrum invited us along to explore and experience their educational and recreational 38 acre urban farm located minutes from Dundrum Shopping Centre as part of our Adventures of Eire series. (more…)
A few months back I had seen an article by Wells House and Gardens (one of our favourite fairy hunting destinations) about geocaching and it got me intrigued, what’s all this about geocaching? I’ve seen so much about it on Twitter and in the media lately… (more…)
Invest in a Portable DVD Player or Tablet
On a recent trip to Disneyland Paris I would have been lost without Mamma Mia, my little one loves musicals and it kept her entertained before, during and after our flight. ‘Set sail from the wilds of Ireland’s West on a wonderful journey with Gabrielle and her annoying brother Karl as axis theatre transforms into an exciting world of pirates, high seas, courage and adventure.’
We’ve been to Disneyland Paris (EuroDisney) four times in the past five years, it’s most probably one of our favourite place in the world. I heart Disney!
