I’m not a fashion blogger, in fact, clothes, in general, don’t really spark joy in me, the way they do in some people. I do love my jackets though, I’ve probably about 20 that I’m not willing to give up as we downsize to move into our new rented accommodation this weekend. The stress is real. As a busy working mum of four, I find most days a struggle to find something half decent to wear – well that was until this little opportunity.

I’m the kind of person who gets a bit of money together then splashes it on the kids, I’m sure I’m not alone – however, Marks & Spencer tasked me to treat myself, to get some bits just for me to get out of that rut. To feel good in the mornings and most importantly love what I’m wearing. So I did, I’m not overly picky and I do have my own unique style. I like skater type swing dresses, pockets (who doesn’t?) and I do always try and get something nursing friendly too.

Now, here’s the bit that might get me into a bit of bother – I love M&S for their kid’s clothes like I adore it and have been buying from their kidswear for years but the women’s section does come off as if it’s for an older generation and completely not my style. I never think of it when I need some new bits and to my surprise, they’ve really upped their game the past few months. In fact, I was torn between choosing some bits online and ended up going into my local store and buying them myself – ask Joe because Pandini’s was downgraded to a chipper that night, lol.

These are my looks (click image for direct links), my casual day-to-day throw them in the wash and the dryer and most importantly don’t need ironing if they are put on a hanger quick enough looks – because lets face who has the time?

All the clothes have been washed and dried numerous times before photos were taken. This is a paid collaboration with Marks & Spencer Ireland and Shopping Links. Photo credit: Nessa Robinson Photography.

I’m nominated for Best Parenting Blog in the Maternity & Infant Awards, if you think I’m deserving of the award I’d really appreciate your vote. It takes less than ten seconds. Thank you!
