This morning we had fifteen days of midterm to fill and with all three babogs screaming with energy at 10am this morning we loaded them into the car and continued our Adventures of Eire and headed off to Glendalough. It’s been many years since my last visit, so if I’m honest I had no idea what to expect or if the kids would even enjoy it.

Anyways they had a ball. They’re all in bed the past half hour and it’s just gone 8pm. Parenting win if you ask me. It’s an adventure for little people, they both spent the day wandering and exploring, taking it all in. Also you can’t review Glendalough in my opinion, these pictures speak a thousand words. No filters. No editing. Just the beauty of Ireland in all it’s glory.

  1. We were there last weekend, big Glendalough fans, and every single time it takes my breath away. The kids just love wondering around too and all the climbing opportunities. Lovely photos.

  2. I can’t to start bringing BattleKid home to discover Ireland. There’s so many places we’ll see for the first time together as a family and Glendalough is most definitely on our to-do list!

  3. It’s been soo long ago that I too visited this place. It was recommended to me by my driving instructor at the time and didn’t disappoint. You are right that the photos say it all.
