My latest parenting beach hack is just in time for summer. For some talcum powder is not only fantastic at keeping babies’ bottoms dry and helping to prevent nappy rash – baby talcum powder is my secret weapon at the beach. It’s always in the boot of my car along with some suncream.
If you’re planning on heading the beach this summer and you’re sick of sandy hands whilst snacking and that never-ending fight to get it off your calves and toes. I have the solution. Talcum powder takes the grainy sand RIGHT OFF the skin. With a generous sprinkle, the dry powder will absorb any remaining moisture and the sticky sand will literally fall away…
Genius, right?
Pop some into a seal lock bag, into your picnic bag, sprinkle it on your hands and use a wet wipe for the excess white powder left. No more yucky sandy sandwiches and it really works!
